Honestly, I don’t think you’re going to get answers to your questions. It’s really tricky. Would it be logistically possible for you to invite WOC to start writing for stfuc? That’d be the best possible solution, imo.

Yeah, there aren’t any easy or straightforward answers to those questions. And I apologize if I made anyone feel like I was putting them on the spot or demanding them to explain racism to me. Like I said, I just want to open up a conversation about it, because I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I haven’t come to any satisfying conclusions.

Since STFUC is a primary blog, I can’t add members to it (thanks, Tumblr). I would have to give someone the password to the account (which has blogs other than STFU attached to it). I mean, most tumblrs don’t have multiple contributors because we have the reblog system, so people can write about stuff on their own blog. That said, my blog is obviously different, because Joe and I both write for it, which sets a precedent of “well why can’t you just ask a third person to join you?” BUT, it’s not like Joe is just another blogger I asked to join me on STFUC; he started helping me out with it when I got really busy with work and he found he really enjoyed writing about politics. He’s my spouse so obviously I can trust him with the password.

I thought by following and reblogging PoC pretty frequently that that added authentic voices to the blog, BUT I don’t want to appropriate issues that aren’t mine to discuss. I JUST DON’T KNOWWWWW
